Exclusive Deadly Storm Unleashes 150km/h Fury in Argentina, Claiming Fourteen.
In eastern Argentina, a storm bringing 150 km/h (93 mph) winds and a lot of rain has killed 14 people.
Before heading on Sunday towards the capital, the storm made landfall in the port city of Bahia Blanca. Which is located about 570 kilometres (355 miles) south of Buenos Aires on Saturday. There, it caused damage to structures and power outages.

It happens only one week after Javier Milei, the newly elected president, took office.
Two further fatalities occurred in Uruguay, a bordering country.

A 25-year-old British visitor to Argentina named Clorrie Yeomans. He told how she was awakened at approximately 03:00 local time (06:00 GMT) in her downtown Buenos Aires flat.
“I’ve never heard a wind quite like this in my life. After that, I heard a bang outside and vehicle alarms,” she remarked.
“A storm was how it felt. I believed the structure to be in motion. I was afraid a tree would fall into my balcony. So I went and sat in the bathroom on the opposite side of the flat.”
She claimed that on Sunday morning
Not many people were willing to leave their houses, and much of the neighbourhood around her flat remained quiet.
“People’s windscreens that had been blasted out by the wind were lying on the ground. A few vehicles have sustained total crush damage,” she stated.
“There are entire streets that are just completely blocked by trees and branches that have fallen down.”There are also cables hanging in the roadway that were knocked down by the trees.”
By Sunday night, she said, a lot of the streets had already been cleaned, and some public transit had started up again.
Along with a number of ministers, President Milei visited Bahia Blanca on Sunday to assess the damage.
According to his office, the government was “assisting the victims and controlling the damage in conjunction with the provincial and municipal authorities.”
In Uruguay, which is directly north of Buenos Aires, authorities said that the storm also uprooted trees and ripped off rooftops.
In the wee hours of Sunday, two people lost their lives, they claimed.
